Hartley & Vance are chartered accountants and business advisers in Leeds — year-end accounts, tax planning, payroll and virtual finance directors for growing UK companies.
Our story
Hartley & Vance was founded in 2006 above a bookshop on Park Square by two accountants who had left large firms frustrated by billing by the six-minute unit.
We built the practice on the opposite model: fixed fees, unlimited sensible phone calls, and a named partner who actually remembers your business between meetings.
Nineteen years later we are a team of twenty-two acting for around three hundred owner-managed businesses — and we still measure ourselves on how early the accounts get filed, not how many hours we billed.
